This healthy chocolate covered strawberry smoothie recipe is the perfect beverage to share with that special someone! A cool creamy blend of cocoa, strawberries, bananas and flaxseed.

almonds

teaspoons
unsweetened cocoa powder

Viva Labs cacao powder

flaxseed

ground

unsweetened almond milk

or dairy free milk

tablespoon
pure maple syrup

or honey

vanilla greek yogurt

Instructions
Add chocolate chips to a small microwave-safe bowl.
Heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between until chocolate is completely melted.
Dip strawberries in chocolate and allow them to dry on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan.
Add all ingredients into a blender.
Blend for about 30 to 60 seconds until the mixture is smooth.
Add more or less sweetener as needed.
Add more almond milk as needed to thin smoothie consistency.
Top with some Greek yogurt, a sprinkle of cocoa powder and strawberries.
Notes
Recipe Yield
: 3 cups
If you don't have frozen strawberries add fresh strawberries plus 1 cup ice cubes. Add more ice as needed.
If you like a stronger cocoa flavor at 2 tablespoons cocoa powder.
